How net metering works

Excess solar power you generate during the day is exported to the grid, and you draw from the grid at night. Your DISCOM meter tracks the net difference, so you’re only billed for what you actually consume beyond what you generate.

Getting approved

Approval timelines vary by DISCOM division. Evergrid Energy submits the application and follows up on your behalf as part of our commissioning process.
